A strategically timed long pass over 40 yards with intent, direction and proper weight isn't 'kickball' |
Yes it is if they never win the ball and it goes back into their half. |
| There's many ways to play the game, kickball or long balls in soccer are a part of the game. It's when it's so repetitive and clearly isn't working over and over and over again is when it's a problem. |

A properly executed pass is received by teammate Are you new to soccer? |
Long pass was never dead it just evolved with the rest of the game as the players on the backline players faster. It is about when to play a long pass and not repetitively, playing that long pass to a specific space or a positional player, or playing that perfect long pass right behind a defender. It's not about kick, run, and good luck. |
The ignorant think a blind speculative boom kick-ball and a deliberate well executed long pass are the same things. |

| Kick ball is when the team doesn't have the technical ability to play out so it becomes like punting in american football to gain a field placement advantage in the opponents half. Professionals do not play kick-ball that is why they are professionals. They play long passes though that are not always received perfectly or defended/volleyed away, this is not kick-ball this is just soccer guys in this case |
