Does anyone know what’s happening on the corner? I just noticed the former Wells Fargo building is being redeveloped.

I'd love to hear what's up with the house across the street from the Wells Fargo. A huge plot of land, no driveway, and somewhat run down?

It's a private residence that's been in the same family for decades. There is a driveway to the house from Arizona.

There's also a curb cut on MacArthur that leads to what looks to be a now-disused driveway for that house. You can see the outline on the Google Maps streetview.

This. I just had flashbacks seeing those two names together. Is the house that decorates their trees with colored bottles still there?

I know at one point, 15 years ago, it was a rental. I went to grad school with a guy who lived there...I think it was a group house kind of situation.

I think there may have been group houses along Macarthur? I remember going to a party there.

DC is putting a toll house in and will start charging Virginias 20 bucks a pop on their way home.
