Who has done monitoring blood work and what did you see? Any concerns? Any benefits?

I did after 6 months on Ozempic. All my "high" or "red zone" tests came back into normal range - blood sugar, blood fats, I'd have to go pull the paperwork to make you a list. My blood pressure took longer to go down, maybe a year, but it did go down as I lost more weight.

Reddit groups like the one called TirzepatideCompound and other have tons of posts about this. The numbers are jaw dropping. It’s a miracle truly.

People have been able to taper off of so many meds and getting healthy for the first time in their lives. I know it’s in part due to excess weight being shed but there’s also the component of GIP in Tirz that evens out your blood sugar and eliminates inflammation.. the effects dramatically alter so much.

Yes, I had regular bloodwork. My triglycerides dropped a lot— from high to well within normal. My HbA1C also fell from like 5.6 to 5.0. My total cholesterol actually went up, though still well within normal range. I always had pretty low cholesterol. My doc said it could well be coincidence as I went through menopause and cholesterol tends to go up as we age.
My blood pressure also went down. I had to reduce the dose of my blood pressure meds twice while taking a weight loss drug.

I haven't had any blood work yet. I've been on it since April. I think my doctor will do bloodwork when I have my physical in the spring.

The only concern really would be my 5.6 A1C, which I assume would be way down on Wegovy, weight loss or not. I have high cholesterol as well, but I've had that since I was skinny (my weight is medication-related gain, I used to be thin). My blood pressure has always been very low (they took it at the dentist last week and it was 95/63).

There are no miracles here. This is the result of losing weight and eating healthy.

True for the most part, but A1C is definitely lower due to Ozempic. Either way, it's the outcome I very much wanted and worked hard to achieve. My cholesterol was high, so was my BP and triglycerides and it all normalized after 8 months of weight loss and being on Ozempic.

I was prescribed Ozempic (0.5 mg) to boost the Metformin I was taking and for the first time in years my HbA1c has fallen back into the normal range.

Interesting. I started Tirzepatide for the first time a week ago. In addition to the medicine, the doctor placed me on 10 amino acid pills per day and two multivitamins per day. Before the visit, I had been having a horrible time falling and staying asleep and terrible gas. I attributed it to perimenopause. However, within a few days of starting the treatment, the gas completely stopped, and I am down 6 pounds and sleeping full nights.

I assumed the pills were improving the gas. It's interesting that it's possibly Tirzepatide. I love this drug and have zero side effects.

I love it too. So much has changed. My hair and nails are growing again. My keratosis Pilaris fixed. Rosacea improved. Plantar pain eliminated. Game changer. And yes like PP said I eat super healthy and exercise a ton.
