| Is this all grades? DC has a broken Chromebook. It just stopped turning on. It’s so old. I’d love to see it replaced without being charged. |

| I don't know if a system-wide replacement program has been scheduled, but my teens have always been able to get replacements when theirs glitched out too much. They were directed to a tech coordinator in their schools. If your kid is too young to reliable navigate this on their own, email their teacher. |

old model was: Lenovo 300e chromebook or Acer 11

| It's not that much different from the 300e except that it actually has hdmi out. Beyond that the 300e is a pretty capable chromebook, though, apart from the fact the students are simply brutal on them. They don't seem to care if their families become financially responsible for them. (But this is true across the board. I have seen students throw iphones onto pavement because it wasn't what they wanted.) |
