HGTV 6 episode show featuring Tarik and his new wife Heather vs Christina and Josh Hall (who is now out). Each team buys, renovates and flips a house. Whoever makes the most $$ wins. Anyway, Josh Hall was signed on to be Christina’s partner, but they had a big fight and he moved out and left the show. According to Christina, he was very jealous of Tarik and was verbally abusive (they didn’t show any of that). Christina said the kids were in favor of the split up because Josh was mean to her. Was I the only one who watched this week?

She's incredibly high maintenance and tightly wound. Heather is not the brightest, but she is chill, sweet, and fun.

First of all, it’s Tarek. Second of all, when Tarek and Christina were together, Tarek admitted to being on testosterone (steroids) which made him quick to anger and all sorts of personality issues. Don’t be so quick to blame Christina please.

+1 She's an emotional mess and already in yet another relationship. This man is the 4th man the two older kids have had to accept as a father figure. Pathetic, selfish parenting.

Christina needs to learn to be happy single.

I know, I know at her age time is not so much on her side but she really needs to take a rest from men.

It doesn’t have to be forever….just long enough for her to realize that being on her own is not the end of the world.

I think she goes from one relationship -> next which has never bode well for her.
Nor for her three children as well.

I loved it and how they opened up in a vulnerable way, taking accountability. Both Christina and Tarek seem like intense people and as someone else said, his huge health issues and tons of meds can’t have made that easier, especially combined with a stressful business and little kids. I do think Heather is a more chill person, but she also got to sweep in at an easier time, fresh and young with not a care in the world. Very different situation! As for Josh, it was so uncomfortable just seeing him on screen, looking so insecure and resentful of Christina. Yes, she launched into things too quickly but I am glad she left him.

Christina definitely has plenty of issues to work through, as evidenced by already being in another relationship.

But Heather comes across very insecure regarding her. She seems like a Christina wannabe. Tarek definitely seems much calmer than he was several years ago.

I watched the first episode on Max. The RT was over an hour so maybe they sliced a couple of episodes together. They definitely edited / Josh said things that we not nice to Christina. The foreshadowed the split for sure.

Wasn't it steroids due to his thyroid issues and associated health issues?

He wasn't juicing to get buff.

He was taking medicine for a health condition.

Yes. He also had testicular cancer and a testicle removed. I don’t think it makes Christina any more to blame. People seem to want to hate her, but it was a rough time regardless of the reason.
