Ghost of the Neon God
a Novella by TR Napper.
I finished it and then turned around to start it again. It's so short and so hard to describe. Here's one of the editorial reviews though:

"Johnny Mnemonic in the Australian Outback with some Ghost in the Shell ruminations on the future of artificial intelligence. A cracking good read; T. R. Napper is one of the best SF writers working today."

We All Want Impossible Things. I liked Sandwich and this is the same author. Not great literature, but a quick read and good (but sad) story.

I’m a cancer survivor and just don’t think I read this even though I loved Sandwich.

I would agree, this would be a hard read as a survivor. Glad you beat cancer.

1. Just finished Matt Rife's (memoir) book Your Mom's Gonna Love Me. Uh, no. I did not at all love the book. It wasn't well written (I'm pretty confident he used a ghost writer) and it had SO much in it from his comedy specials that it was repetitive.

2. Good Morning, Monster a nonfiction by Catherine Gildiner. I am LOVING this. She's a retired psychologist from Canada and she wrote about some of her most interesting patients. I love the intersection of sociology and psychology (specifically, child development) and it's fascinating. There is a lot of serious abuse mentioned so don't leave it around for your kids to read.

I’m reading It Ends With Us. I like it so far! My 7th book of the year, so I’m proud of myself so staying consistent.

My book club read The Wedding People for this month's selection. In my opinion, it's a bit of a beach read but I LOVED IT! As did many members in our group. We needed it after two months of Vietnam selections - one was TERRIFIC and one was not but both were heavy.

Here to Stay: Poetry and Prose from the Undocumented Diaspora. Almost done. It is an anthology and I LOVE some of the works and don't love some.
