SNL 50 documentary serie

Is there already a post on this?

I’m really enjoying this series.

Makes me want to show it to my 13yo who is an actor (stage and loves to make videos with her friends), and ice performer lol, who also loves comedic aspects of plays she has been in, physical comedy. I remember starting to love the show at 14-15.

But also she’s a fairly innocent oldest child, so next year.

Anyway, I finished episode 3. Have been loving being reminded of shining moments on the show, hearing behind the scenes commentary, seeing the set sort of ‘undone.’

The first three episodes were great! The last one wasn’t as funny, but still interesting for perspective on the show.

I’ve seen a lot of extra clips on social media that weren’t part of this series, so i wonder if they’ll be part of the main anniversary episode?

It skips over the 70s, the best part!

The anniversary Live show is Feb 16

OP, can you explain why you used to word “serie” in the title? I’ve been seeing this a lot lately and am not sure why, ie “I saw the greatest Netflix serie called Better Call Saul” or “Can someone recommend a funny serie I can watch with my kids?”

I watched the music doc over the weekend and it was really good, too! There was an end card for one of the people featured who had passed away since the recording. It turns out he died in 2020, so this has been in the works for a while.
