Something light hearted for a Friday afternoon...

This just popped on a Facebook reel. I'm 49 and have been watching Brady Bunch/Sound of Music for 40 years and never realized the connection.

Doug Simpson - the "big man on campus" who was Marcia's love interest in the famous "oh, my nose" episode also played Friederch.

Little Gretl also played Kerry Hathaway - a friend of Jan's and love interest to Peter in an episode.

Finding that out after all this time just blew my mind.

Angela Cartwright played Brigitta in TSOM and played Penny in the original Lost In Space series.

Not a casting crossover but a Sound of Music tidbit,
Heather Menzies (Louisa) was married to Robert Ulrich (Spenser for Hire) for 27 years until his too early death from cancer. They had three children and a very happy marriage. Heather also died from cancer 15 years later.
