| We need to get our DC into mental health and substance use treatment . I think inpatient. I really need some recommendations as I know many places are not great. I also think there may be independent consultants to help navigate this kind of thing? I need any and all advice. Thank you. |

| First, I am so sorry you are all going through this. Do you know what the mental health disorders are. I ask because substance abuse can often co-occur with a mental health condition. People use other substances to “treat” their symptoms. I would contact NAMI—the National Alliance on Mental Illness. They have parent support groups as well. Sending strength and caring thoughts your way. |
