EXCEL Program at Birch Wathen Lenox

Has anyone put their DC in this new-ish program for executive functioning support at Birch Wathen Lenox in NYC?

I have a 9th grader at another school who would benefit from this kind of executive functioning program. But I hear the homework is brutal at BWL in general so in a way an executive functioning program may be essential for that kind of load.

If not, does anyone have suggestions for a very bright child with some minor remediated/managed LDs who needs a very structured, supportive environment? We need something that is not as restrictive as what she has now (classes too small, too much repitition).

We can do a gentle boarding anywhere in the NE or any other mostly typical school but that also has support.

Any thoughts?
