Hoka Clifton 8 replacements?

I love Hoka Clifton 8's for running. The new version, Clifton 9, feel chunky and not like the same shoe.
Has anyone encountered this issue? Which running shoes do you wear? I can no longer find Hoka Clifton 8s....
