MAP score error ranges

A note on MAP score error ranges and the 2-5 vs 6+ tests.

I just noticed something. Over mant years, the error range is almost always

Score-3 score score+3

Exceptions were a very rare -4 or +4,
and in 5th (MAP 2-5) and 8th (MAP 6+) when the score went above 99%ile. The error range grew to +/- 5 and +/-6 as the score increased.
(Besides that, I didn't see any jump up or down when they switched from 2-5 to 6+. Score progress was smooth through the years with some single test outliers)

Of course the actual
test to test variation showed much wider wobble in scores vs the trend curve-fit. Sometimes down a bit and then up a lot, or vice versa.
