Name of a dog doing funny things in Japan in the 90s?

A little random but I have something in my mind and it’s driving me crazy because I can’t remember exactly what it’s called, wondering if someone on DCUM remembers it by chance?

There used to be a stocky dog, looking something like a white American bully, that did funny things around Japan like wearing a little bag and going shopping. He would do cute things and then everyone laughed in the TV audience (Japanese style). I’m not sure about the date but I feel like it was a long time ago, maybe in the 90s. They seemed to be segments from a Japanese TV show that were eventually uploaded to the internet. It had a very wholesome feeling to the show, nice for kids.

Anyone remember his name by chance?

I don’t know the dog but I lived in Japan in the 90s and the popular show was Magical Tsuno Power, which at first I thought it was magical TUNA power, but Tsuno means Brain. So it’s actually Magical Brain Power.

The two other male stars I remember were Tokoro Joji and Kimura Takuya (Kimu Taku for short, part of the band SMAP!). Maybe that helps you search.
