Jefferson Houston Becoming a Middle School

I'm surprised this hasnt been posted yet.

The Alexandria School Board hired consutants to map JH's future use given demographics and enrollment changes and they came up with a bunch of proposals. None included converting the school to a middle school.

Guess what the school board did? Yep- they voted on an option that wasn't even an option. Now, parents of elemnetary kids re flipping out.

The amount they paid for consultants only to ignore all of their suggestions. It’s just ridiculous.
