Going on a trip this spring for our anniversary! Any hotel suggestions would be very much appreciated. Planning on staying in the heart of the old town in each city. Thank you! |
Ritz-Carlton budapest was very nice. |
I agree with the above! Actually one of the nicest places I have stayed in and the kids still rave about that trip and our stay there. Staff was excellent. |
Mandarin in Prague
Rosewood in Vienna both lovely. Great locations We also loved the Matild Palace in Budapest although it is right near a major bridge so a little bit noisy but great view of river or request a room on the other side. |
Thanks, PPs! |
Highly recommend Hotel Sans Souci in Vienna. It was fantastic and a very good value for excellent service/accommodations. (They bring coffee/espresso drinks to your room within 5 minutes of being ordered - for free! - what could possibly be better?). They also have a fantastic restaurant on site. |
we stayed here this past summer and felt like it was a wonderful hotel at a very very reasonable price for the quality https://www.hotelessence.cz/ (prauge)
We stayed at the Crown Plaza in Budapest. Not the most charming location (not bad, just not charming) but it was also a great value. we needed a family suite and they had one. THe club lounge was great for having a little down time in the hotel towards the end of a long trip. |
Sorry! Missed your note about staying in the heart of each city! I also would not recommend the hotel in Prague for a special occasion couples trip. It was very very nice for anyone else who is reading ![]() |
OP here - was hoping to book, but apparently it's been sold! Booo. |
