Recent feedback on Grand Wailea in Maui

| Thinking of taking our 7 and 12 year old to Hawaii this summer. Looking at the Grand Wailea. Is it worth the splurge? Is a week there too long? Any other Maui hotel suggestions? Thanks! |

Grand Wailea is awesome, especially if your kids enjoy swimming pools.
We have stayed there, Marriott Wailea (walking distance to shops), Four Seasons (always lovely), and Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas (more spacious rooms, nicer beach, not as nice pool area). Can't go wrong with any of them. Have fun! |

| Had a great experience. Kids loved the pool and beach. I’ve also stayed at the Ritz but I didn’t like the location and found the water there too rough and the weather was drizzly. |

| We stayed at the Marriott Waillea and loved it. We wanted around the Grand Waillea, it did not seem significantly better to me but we didn’t go into the rooms. |
