Should DCUM Ban links to Twitter/X?

I am seeing it happen all over Reddit after Musk did the Nazi salute. Would the same be a good idea for DCUM to deprive Elon's plaything of any additional traffic?

I'm not inclined to block the links but users can certainly choose on their own not to link to the site.

Users can also choose not to click on Twitter/X links if someone else provides them.

Jeff, would you reconsider letting us link to BlueSky as an alternative to X?

I just have to install the code. That's a bit more complicated than it seems and I haven't had time to do it.

So many of us have quit Twitter/X in disgust that banning it shouldn't be a big deal, if you wanted to go that route.

Is there any update to this?

About blocking Twitter or embedding Bluesky?

No to either. I am still not inclined to block links to X and I am waiting on a code update from Bluesky (along with several other people).

Wait - now you’re speaking for everyone on this website? How about all the nonsense posted from Bluesky? It wouldn’t be a big deal to ban that, right?
