Tell me about Turks and Caicos

Looking at a post graduation congrats trip in mid May. Grace Bay Area. Things to do other than beach?

There's not much to do beyond beach-related activities. We chartered a boat to Iguana Island one afternoon, which was fun.

nothing else?

You go primarily for the beach. What kind of activities do you want to do?

I’d go somewhere else. Much more to do on other islands. Beaches are pretty but that’s about it.

Grace Bay is stunning.
You go there for the beach/water/sealife.

Stay in Turks. Avoid Caicos. Too much island rivalry.

The entire country has the same population as Rockville. It can get boring.

Ok thanks, we are only doing for four nights as a quick end of college trip. The kids are happy to just sit on beach and relax. Was curious if there was any history or zoos or anything. I assume not.

There’s not. But the beaches and water are amazing and totally worth going for 4 nights and a relaxing trip. You can do a half day catamaran to snorkel and see sandbars and iguanas.
Food is insanely expensive. We were glad breakfast was included with Grace Bay Club and Shore Club. Was nice to not pay for that at least! Totally recommend both resorts.

My kids love Potcake Place

Also do a catamaran rental for snorkeling and go to the floating tiki bar

Be careful more crime lately including tourists robbed, lodging broken into.

No, there's not. As someone suggested, spend a half day on a catamaran to mix it up, but that's pretty much it.

Visited last January after nearly a 25-year hiatus. The traffic was awful, awful.

I did not like it. Arid and poor in between expensive resorts with non-native landscaping.

It's fine, but there are other places in the Caribbean I like way better. For a short trip like this obviously you're looking for a direct flight but I'd probably opt for Aruba instead.
