My 11 year old has really gotten into learning how to cook lately and has been reading some cookbooks but I thought that watching a cooking show might help him visualize some techniques besides having me show him. Any suggestions? We have Disney, Netflix, Amazon and Hulu.

This is going way back, but good eats is pretty good, teaches basics and is funny and entertaining.
My 13 year old loves Babish on YouTube. Not aimed at kids, but appealing to them nonetheless.
Honestly, the ones that really teach technique (Julia, Jacques, ATK) would probably be considered boring by most kids. It's mostly entertainment.
Mine likes learning the technique in these but find them too focused on meat when he's mostly vegetarian |
It's not really a cooking show, but my kids love "Is it Cake?"
