AAP Status Code and Informing Committee

If a student is Principal placed in full-time AAP and the parent applies for committee placement full-time AAP, what code is used on the application for AAP status code on the Level IV screening summary sheet used by the school? The student is currently thriving in full-time AAP but was not placed by the committee. Is the school allowed to inform the committee of the student's current full-time AAP status? Will the committee be aware of any existing AAP status, even part-time?

I think this is an excellent question. I would certainly expect so as it is more predictive of success in full-time AAP than any HOPE or test score.

I would write that in your parent referral and say that your child is thriving in the program and back it up w grades/iready/work samples etc.
