Stockholm has so much to offer, plan at least a weekend in town. Also northern Sweden is still lovely that time of year, try an overnight train up north. Gothenburg is an easy weekend trip as well. Last weekend in April is a special holiday in Sweden so try to stay for that- (Valborg/Walpurgis) we light bonfires everywhere! Its very special.

Go to Yasuragi hotel and spa for a night. It's magical to look out at the water submerged in a warm bath with the brisk air around you.

Spa sounds great, but I’ve been in Japanese spas. Any recommendations for a Scandinavian style spa?
