| I refuse to even turn on the TV. I don’t want my children even being aware that it’s inauguration day. Looking for somewhere fun to go just for the day. It will be freezing, so indoor venue recommendations, please! 14 yr old and 10 yr old. |
|
| Skyzone for trampolining, All Fired up, Udvar-Hazey, Ice Skating indoors at Cabin John or in Ballston, Aquarium in Baltimore or any of the other museums up there. ZavaZone. |
| We’re staying home and having a movie marathon day. I’ll make some treats and we’ll just be cozy. |
|
Even walking to the aquarium in Baltimore will be freezing, I’d imagine, so close to the water.
Mall, Dave and Busters, movie, swimming? |
| We're just going to enjoy a nice cozy day at home. DS is home from college for the weekend, DD has the day off, it's going to be lovely. |
Dont you go stir crazy sitting around for that long? And no moving around to boot? Do you even have an appetite given you and the kids don't do anything but sit for consecutive hours during the said movie marathon ? |
| We have a bogo coupon for the ice rink. I'll use that for my tween + friend. |
| What do you normally do on a weekend? |
Sorry you don’t have the mental focus to watch a couple of movies on a cold winter day? |
| Please just make suggestions! Stop the snark. |

Board game tournament!
Indoor dodge ball with rhinoskins |
Not PP you replied to, but when we "stay at home", we go for a long walk with the dog in our neighborhood. The kids use our indoor trampoline. I might be doing chores and cooking something elaborate. So even if we add a movie to this, we're not inactive. |
I think your best way to accomplish this is to stay at home - cook together, Watch movies, and play board or video games. Fun, no inauguration news, and warm. |
