Nicest all-inclusives for families in DR?

Anonymous
I’m overwhelmed by the options and I’m not seeing a ton in the search. Anyone have recs on the nicest family-friendly all inclusives in the Dominican Republic?

We loved our stay at the Paradisus Palma Real ( all inclusive ) with our 2 teenage kids. There were many families with younger kids too.
We booked a great deal including flights and airport transfers through Costco. Highly recommend.

The DR and Jamaica are two places I would never return. I liked Bermuda, the USVI, and Aruba. With teens Aruba is your best best. It's tropical and desert.

OP here, howcome? We’re trying to find a good place with a direct flight from BWI. Have been to Mexico a few times and Puerto Rico doesn’t really have all inclusives.

Hilton La Romana-5 stars, nice calm beach (so less seaweed than Punta Cana), decent food and nice water park

We stayed there too on a multigenerational family trip when one of my children was an infant. It was perfect (except at the end when we all got Montezuma's Revenge -- do NOT drink the water!). Beautiful resort and great for kids.

We're going to dreams royal beach after doing a bunch of research. I've never been to an all inclusive so we'll see how it goes. Kids are in early ES.

Casa de Campo in La Romana is fabulous. Great for families. Lots of activities. Gorgeous beach. Good food. It’s not an AI, but they have full mean plan packages available (incl. drinks) and activities which give you an AI experience.
