Wisp vs. Seven Springs

I've never been to either, which is better for intermediate skiers or are they pretty similar? We would be staying in a VRBO. Is one location better than the other? We will probably cook our own food so I'm not too concerned about restaurants. We would mainly just be skiing during the day and hanging out in the VRBO in the evening. We don't have the EPIC pass so that's not a factor. I looked briefly at Snowshoe, but they are not selling any day passes so that's out.

I'd say Seven Springs over Wisp but I think a lot depends on the location of VRBO. Can you ski in, ski out of Seven Springs from the rental you're looking at?

Anyone else?

Depends on who has more snow. Seven springs is lower altitude I believe so can get muddy if there’s a warm up, but otherwise has more diversity of runs, and more places to eat etc. wisp is more of a cozy rustic mountainy woodsy experience. because of this cold snap I’d probably go with seven springs, unless you want something quieter/smaller. Agree that ski in/out is priority if possible.

Seven Springs is better skiing experience. I've stayed at a close hotel and still had a great time there.
Wisp is just small and eh. Not worth the effort to get to IMO.

Whitetail for sure. It's the best in the area.

Isn't it lower and smaller than both locations actually mentioned in the OP?
