Nice hotels/resorts in Miami area (but not South beach)

Looking for an easy vacation with our teens. We want to spend some time on the beach and pool, visit South Beach once, see the Everglades.

What are some good hotels/resorts? TIA.

St Regis Bal Harbour. Great restaurants and high end shops across the street.
