Grace Episcopal School- any comments

I am interested to know anything about this school. Where do people go once they graduate from middle school. Also, any suggestions or comments (positive or negative)

There is a Grace Episcopal in Alexandria. Is this the one you mean?

Then you probably want to change the subject line to "Grace Episcopal Day School," because the name is different. Do a search; there have been several very positive mentions of this school in previous threads.

They've always had great exmissions post 6th grade. They are expanding and adding middle school fall 2008, and I expect that their exmissions into competitive high schools will be strong. It is a great school - see the prior threads.

This is the last year that they will end at 6th, next year there will be 7th grade and the year after there will be 7th and 8th grade. When they ended at 6th, typically a fairly large number every year went on to Sidwell, Maret, Field, Bullis, St. Andrew's, Landon, and a smaller but significant number to NCS, Holton, St. Anslem's, Edmund Burke, Montgomery County public schools (including some who went to middle school magnets) and a few went to a bunch of other places. If you look on the website under Admissions they have a comprehensive list. I second the recommendation, this is a great school.
