You're an idiot it says right there that the avg is a 3.7 and a 512. |
Yes, 3k students would totally turn down emory if they had a better shot at top 15 schools. only 80% of emory's class is in the top 10% where as it is 95%ish plus at other top schools. It's also why yield is at 40% despite all that scholarship money and alternate campus gaming. |
Yes, 85% of all premed applicants at wustl have those stats. So are premeds at emory dumber? yes. |
Only 10% of Emory students receive scholarships. |
| 95% of posts say no, but 5% of posts by the same emory booster with multiple personality disorder says yes. |
You're trying too hard. WashU gives committee letters, Emory does not. https://prehealth.wustl.edu/application-support-letter-service-myprehealth |
95% posts were written by you, a single hater. |
I don’t understand why some people here are trying to convince others to stop bashing Emory by bashing Hopkins instead. These are both good schools. Neither is dreary. Both have great student bodies with many happy and impressive students doing a lot of normal college things, including parties and sports and spending time in their respective urban areas. I’ve spent lots of time at both and they both have lovely campuses. Many different, but some overlapping, strong academic programs. Spreading mean and untrue stereotypes about Hopkins isn’t convincing anyone here to like Emory better. I love both schools. |

It's because they are insecure and trying to associate themselves with better schools. |
You used parchment earlier, so let's see some of Emory's outcomes vs top 15's Emory vs Duke 42%:58% https://www.parchment.com/c/college/tools/college-cross-admit-comparison.php?compare=Emory+University&with=Duke+University Emory vs Dartmouth 50%:50% https://www.parchment.com/c/college/tools/college-cross-admit-comparison.php?compare=Emory+University&with=Dartmouth+College Emory vs Columbia 50%:50% https://www.parchment.com/c/college/tools/college-cross-admit-comparison.php?compare=Emory+University&with=Columbia+University+in+the+City+of+New+York Emory vs MIT 33%:67% https://www.parchment.com/c/college/tools/college-cross-admit-comparison.php?compare=Emory+University&with=Massachusetts+Institute+of+Technology Emory vs Cornell 36%:64% https://www.parchment.com/c/college/tools/college-cross-admit-comparison.php?compare=Emory+University&with=Cornell+University Emory does well, all things considered. |
there’s no filtering at washu so why is emory not at the same level despite emory people on here claiming washu is a peer? |
Approximately 1% of people would choose Emory over the schools. And that 1% would have to be showered with Cola Cola money. |
Also, the colors are not in red and green which shows your comparisons are not statistically significant. That is not even enough overlap in admits between the schools, which makes sense. There would be exceedingly few that get into MIT that would even consider Emory. |
