Is there a link (or photo)? I haven’t noticed his weight loss. |
Just saw him on TV commenting on something and was shocked... https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2024/04/donald-trump-news-2024-weight-loss-ozempic.html |
I think there's close to zero chance that he lost weight without Ozempic or similar. |

Adding Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo
According to Grande she's healthier than ever having stopped anti depressants and alcohol |
This is a weird photo. Plenty of recent photos of him looking bloated and fat. He’s hardly a weight loss success story. |
Using Zepbound as an example, in the 72-week study of individuals with obesity who also used diet and exercise as weight loss tools during the study period, the group taking the highest dose of Zepbound lost 36.2% of their body weight. The placebo group lost 1.5% of their body weight - in 72 weeks. For a 250-pound person, that's less than 4 pounds in 18 months versus 90 pounds with the medication. Look at the vast majority of Biggest Loser competitors. During the show, they lose weight when they are free to devote all their attention to diet and exercise. When they return to real life, that's not sustainable, so they gain. The amount of "willpower" required to maintain a low-calorie diet over time varies from person to person and depends on many factors. We can preach diet and exercise, but what happens when someone gets injured and can't exercise? Or when they are sick or chronically sleep-deprived? There's also the fact that metabolism slows when someone loses weight and that losing weight can trigger hormonal changes that make you want to eat more. Simply put, medication isn't needed to learn new eating and exercise habits, but it makes it more likely that people can implement and sustain improvements in nutrition and fitness while losing weight. |
This is very true. The selective bias (at least in female stars) is toward small, fine-boned people to begin with. When you meet them, most are even smaller--both in height and build--and more fine-boned than you think. |
They are just both anorexic. |
This is how I lost 25 lbs. I didn’t qualify for Ozempic or other GPL 1s and couldn’t afford to pay out of pocket. Don’t assume everyone is using something to lose weight. At the same time, the GPLs just curb your hunger. You still have to cut calories to lose weight. You are still dieting and still changing your eating habits, so saying you’re eating smaller meals isn’t BS. |

Joe Biden is my favorite celebrity because he seems to be a decent man dedicated to public service and he is the president
Of our country. |

Not every weight loss is down to drugs. I'm 63 and I recently lost 15 pounds by ... eating less. The weight has easily stayed off for three months, including two overseas trips. Maybe celebrities can foot the cost of Ozempic, but lots of us don't want to be tied to that bill every month. |
