Socks that don’t slide down in snow boots

Anonymous
I got a new pair of Sorel snow boots at the end of last winter. They are very warm and waterproof but I need recommendations for thin socks to wear that don’t slide down them. Thanks!

Look for ski socks. They should say specifically "ski socks". They're usually a thinsulate-type material and are made to stay up and not slide.

Thanks. I just ordered some on Amazon.

Was coming on to say something similar. I'm wearing my smart wool socks that go up mid calf and they don't slide down.

Agree on ski socks. I also love basically any Smartwool sock.

I love my Bombas, and wear the no show types over nylons and inside booties when I’m wearing a dress in the winter. If you put them on correctly, they don’t slide down.

Generally no mid-calf socks should slide off inside a boot though.

Smart wool knee highs.

I’ve never had this issue. I mostly wear Hue crew socks. My smart wool socks don’t slide down either, but they’re a little thicker.

I have given up on wearing socks in my snow boots.

Snow boots are not booties.
