My spouse got me a netipot and bought me Trader Joe's artisanal bottled water to use with it. I was sick as a dog and was like great thanks. Used it four times over the last two days: I feel better and am
more on top of things. The water is just bottled...not distilled. I'm prone to anxiety anyway and I'm so scared now: any reassurance?? |
| You're fine. But you'll live a longer and happier life if you learn to manage your anxiety. |
| I use filtered water from my fridge and have for years. Still alive with no issues from it. |
| What’s done is done. Just get yourself distilled water |
|
I have always used tap water for years.
Don't ever use water that has been through a water softener. Didn't realize a house I was in had one once and oooh, that stung. |
| I use tap water. |
| Don’t use tap water like these others, but you’ll be fine. |
| I boil my tap water. But I grew up in Florida and we had amoeba fear drilled into us. |
| You're very likely fine, it's your overall risk over a lifetime of use that you have to reduce. Boil filtered water next time. |
| Also use tap water and extra salt b |
| I just use tap or shower water. |
|
You will be fine.
Folks. Please don’t use tap water in the Neto pot without boiling it first. I have a couple of fish tanks and know first hand of the worms that are present in our tap water. |
| I wouldn’t use tap water, but if you do you should think about where it comes from. Definitely not if you have well water. Also be careful in case of water main breaks and other events that cause boil advisories. And definitely don’t use tap if you live in the district or Arlington. |
I have more confidence in my nasal passages than you do in yours, maybe. |

You're fine OP.
Just buy distilled water from.now on, and definitely don't use tap water. I've been using a neti pot for years! |
