Hello everyone! I am a college freshman at William and Mary with a startup idea for a college-specific textbook exchange platform. I am in the stages of conducting market research from current and recent college students and would love if you could take the time to fill out the attached survey. If you have any questions about my specific business model, please let me know. (An overview can be found in the survey link).

| My kids use very few actual textbooks. Most are digital. For the hard copies they need, they sometimes rent. |

This. Is there still a potentially thriving market for bound textbooks? |
Mine still had to buy textbooks. Like $200 dollars worth each. I think physical textbooks are more common for upper level classes? Could be wrong. |
I’m the one who said my kids use mostly digital. They have had to buy a few but not many. One kid likes to keep them for reference. The other either rents them or sells them back as fast as she can. |

My classes are about 50/50 when it comes to online vs. physical textbook. However I tend to purchase a physical textbook even if I have an online version due to migraine/concussion issues.
There seems to some sort of market for physical textbooks but I’m still trying to get a feel for it. |
