Look for a fun lunch spot with my teen while visiting the French Quarter. Not a picky eat, just want something fun with good food! |
My teen loved the Cafe Beignet location on Bourbon St. it is at the back of Jazz Legends Park, and there is usually live music in the afternoon and evenings. You order inside, and food is brought to your table. You go to the bar for drinks, and they did not notice or care that we bought drinks for our 18 year old.

Brennan’s is cool because it is sooooo New Orleans with the murals inside and everything. And it’s so famous.

Commanders Palace or Brennan's. |

Stanley Commander's palace is quite an experience but is not in the French quarter |
+1 for Stanley

Café Amelie has fantastic food and is good for a fun, celebration meal. Though I'd try to go when the weather is good enough to sit on the patio as I like the vibe there better than in their dining room (which runs a little stuffy/formal for me). |
All the Brennan’s restaurants are good. |
I feel like mothers is authentic, though it's more the feel of a diner if your definition of fun is more upscale |
Napoleon House is a good casual option- has history, classic menu, and my kids got to sign the wall which they loved.
It’s right by the Pharmacy Museum which was fantastic. https://www.napoleonhouse.com/ |
