Beautiful cities like Prague?

Most of the smaller cities/areas in Italy are gorgeous and less expensive.

A lot of Central and Eastern Europe. Budapest, Bucharest, Krakow, etc. I thought Sofia was not quite as much fun but wasn’t there long.

I would’ve put Lviv on this list but unfortunately cannot now.

We have traveled a lot in Europe and I love the small towns. But we were just in Mexico after Christmas and stayed in San Miguel Allende and it was one of the prettiest towns that I've ever visited.

I don’t remember a single block in Budapest having buildings that were not ornate and interesting.
