Any recent experiences with Eliot Hine or Stuart Hobson?

I saw the Stuart-Hobson musical Matilda and it was outstanding.

Eliot-Hine has a great girls' cross country running team.

Stuart Hobson has a whole theater program, I don't know the details but the theater kids spend a lot of time together. Pros and cons to that!

Stuart-Hobson offers Algebra I and Geometry, I think Eliot-Hine does too depending on if anyone wants to take it.

I would be fine sending my kid to either one of them.

I used th bathroom at Stuart-Hobson. It was fairly clean.

I parked near Eliot-Hine 6 months ago. No issues.

EH now has “accelerated” literature and math. No idea what that means.

Stuart Hobson has an even better debate team, at least based on competition results.

Really? I hadn't heard that DCPS was allowing this to be offered above board any longer. SH surreptitiously places the highest performing 6th grade ELA students in 7th grade ELA, but no one talks about it. Unlike math where tracking is seemingly OK with DCPS central and straightforward at SH.

Really. It is in the open house materials.
