What do you pay for car insurance?

Two teen drivers and two adults- 3 cars. 2015 2017 and 2022

Rate is $4800! Is that high?!

We have 2 cars for 2 50 yo adults and pay $2k/yr.

4 cars with two parents plus 20 and 21 yr olds who each have a car at college. $2100 every six months.

Thankfully, the oldest will graduate in May and switch to his own policy this summer!

We have one college student on ours who doesn’t have a car, two cars, two adult drivers, one time rear ended by an uninsured driver and ours doubled when we added our teen. He wasn’t the one rear ended.

Man, I am getting ripped off. $950 every six months for a 2016 Mazda 3 with 135k miles. State farm.

It's the teens. Two discounts to take advamtage of:
1 - discounts for good grades - USAA does this, and it helps
2 - when they go off to college, call and tell them and they will give you a discount, because for 8 out of 12 months they won't be home/driving
