Preparing to go abroad, I have my airpod, whistle, antitheft bag, a device that looks for cameras in your room, also I have a door stop alarm, anyone use this? No problem getting it through security? |
What about a carbon monoxide detector? |
Where is your gun? Either stun or other. That’s the more pressing issue you nutcase |
Are you traveling to Haiti? |
We were told to take all the batteries out, and kept the batteries inside carry on. |
Are you going to Russia or somewhere else in the former eastern block? This all sounds a bit excessive. |
Where are you going? Agree this is excessive. |
What is a “device that looks for cameras in your room”? Does this really exist? Do you have a link? Sounds like it would be useful for Airbnb-type stays. |
+1 I don’t travel with any if the previously mentioned items, but I do travel with a carbon monoxide detector |
Same question. Fascinated. |
If you are really traveling somewhere where you need all this, you probably should hire personal security. |
Yeah, an armed team that picks you up from the airport in a B6 armored Land Cruiser. |
You can't detect a camera itself with a tool, but you can detect an infrared light (used by night vision cameras) and you can detect anything that sends a radio signal (Bluetooth or wifi), and you can detect anything that generates heat, but modern microtech runs pretty cool. |
Remove the batteries and it'll be other benign electronics. Or put it in checked luggage. |
