Travel into DCA today (Jan 7)

We are trying to get home from Kansas City. We were supposed to get into DCA last night but our Southwest flight was canceled at the last minute. We are rebooked for this afternoon. How is DCA today? Are flights getting in?

You'll be fine. Snow has stopped entirely and all they have to do is clear the runways which likely has already happened.

The airport is working but I guess it depends on repositioning of planes by the airline after all the disruption.

DCA is fine and hopping. It depends on the incoming flights. My flight out is delayed because the plane from Detroit is delayed.

Yes. As long as the planes coming here can get here. If they were moved out of the path of snow, flights are cancelled or delayed.

My Alaska flight arriving this evening was cancelled an hour and a half before boarding.
