Whitetail lift ticket on phone: Do I need to validate?

It has been ages since I skied Whitetail, but DH and I are going to play hookey later this week and go.
Daily lift tickets have been purchased and added to our phones. Do we need to stop at guest services to have them scanned/activated/blessed, or can we go directly to the lift? |
