| What type of communication with D1 coaches really occurs before June 15 after sophomore year? How are rules navigated for early recruiting by programs looking for advantage? What have you experienced? |

| Generic emails, camp invites, etc. are all allowed. Requests for you to fill out the recruiting profile for the school will also happen. Anything specific/different for your kid around specific interest from a school will be communicated through your club coach. |

| All the talk of social media misses the point. At some point coaches need to watch the player perform in real game pressure. If social media helps get a coach to come watch you, great. But the game performance better live up to what was portrayed on social media or it will go nowhere |

| Showcases are the best place for exposure/feedback. Lots of college coaches in one place, especially in the "early" recruiting ages (9th/10th for girls). Being seen and showing the coaches ability is what gets it done. They will often message their interest through the club coaches to share that feedback with you. |

| They talk to coaches who talk to the kid. My DD committed way before (verbally) this way. |

| From what we have seen early in the process, there is feedback to the club coach who will pass it along to the player - most of it has been on the level of so and so from such and such school sent me a message about you and they plan to come to the showcase game. Or, they will be at practice or your next league game. They have you on their radar and are interested in seeing more. |

Per NCAA rules, college coaches are not supposed to have "recruiting" conversation with player/family/coach about a player before June 15. College coach can only indicate a general interest in the player. So if a college coach made an offer before June 15, which I believe happens at many schools for their top recruits, it is against the rules. |

| 2-3 players per team with some great team exceptions is any of this relevant to. If this was your player you wouldn’t be on here asking, you would already have a direct line to your TD and know how it works already. Carry on 🤡 |
