| Hello! My family just moved to the area. we have a 12 year old daughter and a 8 year old son. Both are pretty decent. My daughter was towards the top of her ECNL-RL team back in chicago, and my son played for an MLS next academy and wants to be a pro one day. There’s so many teams in this area, i just don’t know where to go! Please help! |
| Don’t listen to others - especially on this board/forum. Trust your gut. Try out and play/practice with all clubs that might be a good fit for your children. In the end- you will find a spot that fits your family’s needs! Best of luck! |
| If they need to be in the same club, SYC might be a good place to look. They have MLS next for your son and GA for your daughter which might be comparable to her RL team. |
| Vienna is the best place for both your children. Black and red all the way! |
| McLeans 2013s are very talented as are Loudouns and Springfields. Cant speak to your younger age group |
| He's 8? How can he play for a MLS Next academy? |
he wants to go pro, so he's playing up |
eye roll |
Classic response from a subpar parent with trash ambitions |
Just let DCU know he's coming to the area. |
| McLean, Vienna, SYC are all large clubs. Not sure what part of Fairfax youre in. Maybe tell us the 3 or 4 closest clubs to you geographically and we can give intel. |
Vienna is the best one of all of those! Don’t waste time with anyone else. Coaching is amazing and superb. You and your kids won’t regret signing up for VYS at all. VYS is best, forgot all the rest! |
I love this journey for you. |
Don’t hate. Nothing wrong with playing on scrubby team that is not up to Vienna’s superior standard. |
If you’re going to troll because you were wronged (at least in your mind) once in the past, at least do a better job of it. |
