Basketball tickets

Does anyone know how to best get tickets for a gmu basketball game? Lots of 3rd party vendors selling at different prices but I don’t see how to buy directly from gmu? Daughter wants to go to a women’s game.

Not sure about GMU, but for AU we just show up and buy tickets at the window. It’s general admission - $5/student and $10/adult.

I got to this website via the university athletics website. You can also walk up to the arena box office - if you live close by, you could call in a few days/weeks before.

Have you tried phoning the Eagle Arena?

Even though the link above says powered by Ticketmaster it's not adding extra fees. It looks like the women's games are general admission.

We went to a men's game recently and did have reserved seats. Over the winter break they were offering discounts because many students were out of town.

We had lots of fun. The band and dancers were there, and it was a real family atmosphere.

For women's basketball, buy in advance here https://www.ticketmaster.com/george-mason-university-patriots-womens-basketball-tickets/artist/850376 or at the window on the West side of Eagle Bank Arena. At the window has fewer fees and the women's tickets do not sell out. It is now $15 per ticket, general admission (seat yourself anywhere), no discounts were noted at the window.
