JetBlue to London? Anyone done this airliner?

Play has the lowest prices but JetBlue now flies to London. The layover is in Boston.

What is it like with JetBlue international flights?

They fly narrow-body (single-aisle) planes. Not a safety risk, just some people can feel cramped.

From Boston it's not a long flight though.. 6 hours? So don't expect to get much sleep on the overnight.

I haven't flown JetBlue yet but am seriously considering them for a trip to Europe in summer 2025, so I've been reading up.

Like PP mentioned, they use narrow-body planes for transatlantic. Boston may be emerging as a hub for their transatlantic flights.

It's been widely covered in the air travel press and social media spheres, but JetBlue has replaced hot meals with cold meals on their transatlantic flights. Supposedly the cold meals are actually quite good. This is not a deal breaker at all for me, as I'm fairly price sensitive and the flights I'm interested are several hundred dollars cheaper per person on JetBlue compared to my local legacy carrier.

(Serving only cold meals has something something to do with specific planes and the number of ovens in the galleys and being able to staff a flight with one less flight attendant.)

Fly nonstop. Better for you and better for the planet.

My DH travels often to London and has done both Play and JetBlue. He prefers Jet Blue over Play. The connection in Boston has been easy both ways - and the trips generally uneventful. He can't remember anything about the food/seats etc, but that likely means it's fine (not great but definitely not bad).

Currently in Boston trying to fly domestic.

The whole JetBlue plane is delayed like 90 minutes and counting because they’re waiting on the catering for the Mint service.

We flew Jet Blue to London from Boston in their Mint section, which is like business class. It was very nice and I'd do it again. Much cheaper than other business class flights.

I don't know that I'd do it in the economy cabin because they don't have any sections with more leg room. For that long of a flight, I need more space.

I just did this trip last week on JetBlue. It was absolutely fine and half the cost of a direct from IAD. A little annoying to have a layover but to save $800 I was happy to do it.

I did it in economy and don't consider this a long flight where I would need extra space, per the previous PP.
