Periods are heavier now

Hi All,
40 Asian American here, I've have irregular periods growing up(diagnosed with PCOS in college) and had 2 healthy pregnancies. I went for my annual exams and the OB discussed symptoms of menopause. At what age do you usually stop getting your period? I'm experiencing heavy flows/blood clots which I haven't had before. Any help/guidance would be appreciated. Thank you. |

| Did you mention the heavy flow/clots to your OB? For me, the only thing that helped was a hormonal IUD, that I got at 40. Within 3 months, my periods were gone. It’s been great (I’m 45 now). |
