DC has diarrhea-stomach bug going around?

Sorry to be gross...Is there anything going around? If so, how long does it last and what other symptoms? DC seems to be doing well between bouts with this, but when the cramps set in-miserable.

my daughter had it last week, and I picked it up from her for a few days. whenever she has a bug like that, it tends to render her temporarily lactose-intolerant so we switch her to lactaid milk for at least a week, go easy on milk in general, limit fatty foods (like mac & cheese) and make sure she stays hydrated. Also, an OTC probiotic can help if the doc approves it (for very young babies) - we open up a capsule in her milk. (or formula, when she was younger.) Good luck.

My 9 mo. old had it last week and it took 8 days to get out of his system. Lots of bananas and apples helped!

Anyone with a school aged child who has it? Any idea how long it lasts for kids that age? I have heard of babies being sick for a week or more. It is gross, and I want it gone!

DS (aged 2) and I both had it. It lasted for two days.

Next door neighbor kids.....same symptoms = strep. Did you get her tested for strep?
