That the article is from 2017 is very clear to anyone who looks at the URL, but thanks for pointing that out.

You may want to inform DCPS that Stevens is not a functioning school in their system. They, and everyone else, seems to think it is.

Warren Buffet went to Deal and Wilson (now Jackson-Reed).

I don’t know why DCPS doesn’t tout that more. He’s one hell of an alumnus to have in your stable.

NP here. Isn't Stevens just early education now? Amy Carter was there for elementary school, so it's hardly the same.

He is from Omaha. But his dad was a congressman and so he lived here for a few years.

Yeah, it’s just PK3 and PK4, so it’s different but West End doesn’t have enough resident families to make a full elementary viable. An ECE center there made a good amount of sense, although it’s serving wealthier families than was originally intended.
