Do you take them to adult salons now?

Yep the barber shop. Or i do it (remnant of the pandemic days when i learned to cut the boys’ hair).

I have daughters with long, somewhat curly hair. I cut it myself until they were about 13. Then I began taking them to my stylist but only 2x a year because they wear it long anyway and the cuts are expensive.

DS has gone to the same barbershop as DH since he was a year old.

Yes. Mine charges a "youth" fee even tho DD is 13. It's $50.

DD started and I started going to the same stylist when she was in 7th grade. Before that she went to places like Hair Cuttery. My son has longish hair then and also decided he wanted to go there too. Now he’s back to a more traditional short cut but doesn’t want to switch. His cuts are much less than ours.

Hair cuttery for my 12 yo DD as she just gets simple trims to n straight hair. If she had complicated curls or other hair needs I would take to a more professional salon.

My kids have easy hair to cut and I just take them to Hair Cuttery, too. They do a good job and it's clean and easy to book.

I take my DDs to my stylist and DS has always gone to a barber since he was a toddler. He gets his haircut every 2-3 weeks and my DDs get their haircut every 4 months.

I've always taken them to adult salons from the start.

Unfortunately, he has a longer short haircut that requires some skill to cut. I take him to the salon where I get my hair cut. It is expensive-ish ($65), but I make him kick in $20 towards it from his part time job.

Hair Cuttery, barber, home hair cut.

Husband and son both go to bearded goat. We used to do hair cuttery but his hair is super thick with a lot of cowlicks and needs someone really skilled

12 year old DDs and I started bringing them to my salon last year. They get a youth rate and I booked them with one of the new stylists who is less than 10 years older than them and they trusted her more with their long hair because “she understands” 😂 Between the youth discount and the new stylist it really wasn’t that expensive.
