| Where can I go with 12 and 15 year old? I was thinking Grand Canyon and Sedona or Joshua tree or another national park. Budget $6k or so. Any recommendations? Kids have never been out west other than a few cities in California |

We did Palm Springs, CA and Joshua Tree last spring break but only for a few nights. We spent the rest of the week in LA seeing baseball games and a Disney day.
Do the kids like to hike? for multiple days? It took some convincing to get my teen to hike at Joshua Tree and in Palm Springs for two days. No way he'd agree to a week of hiking. |

| They've never been out West, you've got to do the Grand Canyon. Check it off. You better be creative re: where to stay and your schedule. You're behind on this, the planning. Make that your must-do and other vacation details/activities will fall into place around it. |
