I have had asthma for many years. I have been exposed to mold many years ago. Now something’s different. I feel this drippy feeling not in the back of my nasal area but much lower like in the back of my esophagus. This is regardless of whether I have eaten or drank. I haven’t had good experiences with allopathic medicine. Lots of misdiagnoses, prescribing medicines like Cipro that made me worse, ordering surgeries that I later learned weren’t necessary…I want to go get myself checked out by Johns Hopkins but are they strictly allopathic? I know their lead gastroenterologist was prescribing herbal antibiotics because he sad it works just as well as standard antibiotics but without the side effects. Does their pulmonology department also employ integrative medicine or do functional medicine? My mind is going crazy now thinking the worst. |

What is the worst you fear it is?
Do you use simply saline to rinse your nose? It's likely postnasal drip. Do you cough stuff up? Do you have a rescue inhaler? Do you cough stuff up after using it? |
| BTW I have allergy induced asthma and Nov and Dec have been hell with warm weather and leaf mold up the wazoo.. |
My nose is dry. My throat behind my nose feels bone dry. My asthma symptoms greatly improved with just herbals over the years, to the point doctors could no longer detect asthma in my lungs. So rescue inhalers weren’t needed anymore. I never cough up anything. Just feel the need to clear my throat sometimes.,But I was recently exposed at a moldy beach house and have been coughing ever since. |
Do you feel a drippy sensation in your chest/esophagus? |

I feel congestion and out of breath. I use my rescue inhaler, cough up some stuff.
I don't relate to what drippy feels like. |
