Hotels in Prague?

Going in April. We'd like to stay in the heart of Old Town. Thanks for any recommendations!

Hotel Iron Gate is lovely and in the heart of things near the old town square. On the Prague Castle side Hotel Alchemist is great.

I wouldn’t recommend staying in the area right near the Charles Bridge. It’s crazy crowded and there’s a lot of late night partying. If I go back I will stay further East . Prague is extremely easy to get around and quite compact.

There was some street noise at Iron Gate, but that will be true of any hotel right there.

+1. We stayed in the center in an Airbnb (so no hotel recommendations), right next to this restaurant, and it was a lovely area. Walking distance to attractions, but a bit calmer area, and next to tram lines to castle and areas further out. Lots of restaurants and a few supermarkets near by.

I was there a few months ago. Stayed at Hilton Prague Old Town. Just far enough from the crazy nightlife action, but also close enough you could walk to most places, and right by a major tram stop too.

I just stayed in the President. It was fine with a nice spa. Good location.

OP again - if anyone has any hotel suggestions for Vienna and Budapest too, that would be so appreciated. Thank you!
