Traveling on Inauguration / MLK day?

| I know there is zero way to predict but if you had to travel mid-Jan would you do it before Jan 20th, on, or after? I need to go west coast for family event that I can't get out of. What has Trump promised for day one besides enriching himself? |

| I wouldn’t have a problem with traveling generally but I wouldn’t be comfortable attending the inauguration for safety reasons, if that’s what you mean. |

| I have planned a trip for that weekend and will be in the air most of Inauguration Day itself. I would have gone to one of those digital detox resorts if I could afford it. |

| Go early. People will be coming in not leaving. Allow time for security. |

More people will probably be coming in but I wouldn't underestimate the number of people getting out of town for the long weekend. |

| People will be arriving back into town on Monday the 20th - we are from a weekend trip - and it’ll be crazy at the airports that day. Also on Friday, when we leave. |
